This blog provides me with a creative outlet to discuss subjects that have nothing to do with work, child-rearing, or navigating the Los Angeles Unified School District.

I am living the working mother life in Los Angeles. I’m married, have two teenagers, work full-time, and spend a lot of time commuting in Los Angeles traffic. Although I really have no time to blog, I find it a welcome balance to the busy-ness of life. Plus, it helps me remember what books I’ve read!

Hey there busy lady ~ Great job on your newest project! I’m impressed. I’ll visit often and look for new recipes or music leads…and books I can read on cross country flights, which tend to be the ONLY time I get any recreational reading done these days. Hope to see you at the cooking stage again at the LA Times Festival of Books – this year it’s moving to USC. Chefs include Thomas Keller (French Laundry), Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes), Fabio Viviani (Top Chef All-Stars), Graham Kerr (Galloping Gourmet)… Dates are Saturday and Sunday, April 30th and May 1st.
