About Wendy’s Word
Wendy’s Word allows me to share my thoughts about what I consider to be the essentials of life — primarily books, food, and music. This blog provides me with a creative outlet to discuss subjects that have nothing to do with work, child-rearing, or navigating the Los Angeles Unified School District.
About Wendy
I am living the working mother life in Los Angeles. I’m married, have two teenagers, work full-time, and spend a lot of time commuting in Los Angeles traffic. Although I really have no time to blog, I find it a welcome balance to the busy-ness of life. Plus, it helps me remember what books I’ve read!
Hey there busy lady ~ Great job on your newest project! I’m impressed. I’ll visit often and look for new recipes or music leads…and books I can read on cross country flights, which tend to be the ONLY time I get any recreational reading done these days. Hope to see you long before the next public health conference in Philly.
ik I’m brilliant, beautiful, and talented……jkjkjk

why no commentary on the knicks? also, why no commentary on your husband, old ‘what’s his name’?
I love this! You rock, mama.
What a fabulous blog! Where else would I find out about laptop lunchboxes, the cheese store, reynolds nonstick foil, and menu-planning services, all in one fell swoop? Thank you, Wendy, for expanding my world!
Wendy,
Great seeing you and great that you are here to share Jacobs special weekend!
Love ya!

Hi, Wendy!
So glad to see you’re keeping up this wonderful blog! I enjoy reading your enlightening, yet concise, summaries. You’re better than Cliff Notes!
Hey, I rec’d “The Blind Side” for the holidays. Do you want to review when I’m done? If you say Yes, that is good because it will force me to read it soon…
I’m so glad you like it! What is The Blind Side?
Let’s get together for lunch soon and catch up!
